Chantal commenced her legal career in South Africa in 2005 where she gained experience in the banking and finance sectors.
Following Chantal's immigration toNew Zealand in 2007, she continued her legal career, gaining extensive experience with a particular focus on areas of the law including business, trusts, asset planning, property, banking and finance and retirement villages (development, resident representation and annual compliance), wills and enduring powers of attorney.
Having worked across various areas of the law, Chantal has become a specialist business, trust, asset planning, property and retirement village development advisor, and she is therefore able to think through a range of aspects that may arise during the course of a transaction or as a consequence of a transaction.
While working full-time in the legal practice since 2005, Chantal completed her law degree at the University of South Africa and continued her legal education in New Zealand in order to be admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand. Chantal is also a member of the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a volunteer at Citizens Advice Bureau.
