New Partner Appointment –
The partnership of Malley & Co are delighted to announce the appointment of current Consultant, Gareth Abdinor as a Partner of the firm with effect from 1 November.
Gareth consistently demonstrates exceptional client engagement and service delivery in his specialist areas of law including privacy, employment, health and safety and information technology. His technical expertise combined with his pragmatic and commercial approach to finding solutions to complex problems for his clients, compliments the outstanding level of legal talent available to the firm’s clients, said Managing Partner, Simon Price.

Alf’s son, Felix, joins the practice as Office Accountant and Manager.

Alf Malley is honoured with a dinner hosted by the Canterbury District Law Society to celebrate 50 years in practice.

On 22nd February the Cathedral Square building is damaged beyond repair in the Christchurch earthquake. Malley & Co find alternative premises in the suburbs.
In August Malley & Co are one of the first law firms to move back into the city.
In June Malley & Co merge with Mackintosh Bradley & Price.
